The Bark River Classic Drop Point Hunter Elmax is the super stainless steel version of the timeless Bob Loveless design that is revered worldwide. Elmax steel provides uncompromising edge retention and fantastic corrosion resistance making it a fantastic choice for a field dressing/game processing/kitchen duty knife. This Bohler Uddeholm proprietary powder metallurgic steel is extremely refined and clean making a homogenous molecular and carbide structure. This allows this super steel to greatly exceed the sum of its elemental parts.
Measuring 8.45” overall with a 3.775” drop point blade the Bark River Classic Drop Point Hunter has a spine thickness of .156” and Rockwell tests at 59-61 hardness for maximum edge retention. A full exposed tang provides strength and a sure comfortable grip is made possible with a contoured (palm swell) handle. Proudly made in the USA, includes a deluxe leather sheath.
