The custom Bark River Hults Bruk Almike Hatchet was sent to BRKT for a run through the custom shop. While there, these axes received a custom speed grind for maximum cutting geometry even on our hard North American hardwoods.  Next, a nice buffing and polishing job was added to give your axe a beauty that makes it stand head and shoulders above the competition both in performance and looks.  Did we mention these axes are SHARP? Original Hults Bruk axes come with a reasonable edge but these custom Bark River Hults Bruk Almike hatchets will amaze you with how sharp they are. No longer will you have to swing away wildly to do the job.  With this customized Bark River small axes minimal effort is all that is required to finish the task at hand not only saving your back but also increasing safety.

The best part is the size of this custom Bark River Hults Bruk Almike hatchet allows the small axe to be carried in your pack with ease. When Mike Stewart of Bark River Knives and Jason Thoune of DLT Trading envisioned this project it was with the hunter and outdoorsman in mind.  This custom axe is absolutely perfect for the outdoors.  Includes a leather head cover and weighs approximately 1.75 pounds.  Face is 3.5” with a 16 overall length.  Hand forged in Sweden of proprietary carbon steel and customized to perfection by BRKT in Escanaba, Michigan.
