Bark River Mini Gunny S45VN

The Bark River Mini Gunny was inspired by DLT’s owner Jason Thoune as the ideal EDC fixed blade and ultra lightweight field knife. Sporting the tried and true lines of the Bravo series in a compact form, the Mini Gunny will be a hardworking companion for urban and rural environments. With an overall length of 7.5 inches, and a 3.4 inch blade, the Mini Gunny slots in between the Bravo EDC and the Gunny, giving it enough handle for a full grip, even for large hands, while remaining compact and almost invisible on your belt.

This hardworking blade is made from CPM S45vn (60-61 rockwell) at a 1/8th inch stock, making the Mini Gunny a mean slicer. Mike Stewart of Bark River notes that he has been asking Crucible Steel to make a steel like this for years. He describes it as an American made version of Elmax. S45vn is a tough stainless steel with a more edge retention and corrosion resistance than S35vn. Together with Bark River’s famous convex grind S45vn will be an absolute winner for field tasks and EDC alike, thanks to its ease of maintenance and durability.
