Bark River Mini Kalahari
The Bark River Mini Kalahari is one of the few knives that come along every so often that just beg to go on your belt or into your pack. If you hunt deer or mid to big sized game, this knife should be at or near the top of your list. Perfectly sized at 7.75” overall with a 3.75” blade, the knife has an ample handle and a blade size and shape that was simply made to hunt. The swedge near the tip allows for a point fine enough for detailed work while an ample belly makes cutting, slicing and skinning game a snap. The contoured “Kalahari” style handle fits both standard and pinch grips and the blade height allows just enough of an integral self guard to help ensure your hand wont slide forward onto the blade.
Stout enough to pop joints when breaking down game or batoning wood to make a fire back at camp, the .135” blade tapers to a razor’s edge making the knife cut and slice like a razor. A convex edge helps with edge stability and aids in field sharpening without the need for guides, clamps or gizmos. At 3.5 ounces the Bark River Mini Kalahari carries light and easy in the included leather carry sheath (can be carried strong side vertically or weak side canted cross draw).
