The Bark River Moro Barong is the biggest knife to come out of BRKT in years. This brute of a chopper will out chop and out slash anything you’ve used before. Inspired by a custom knife built by Jody Samson, this knife measures an impressive 23.125” overall with a 16.7” blade made of A2 tool steel. At .200” thick with 2.5” of blade height, the Moro Barong packs an incredible punch. The handle design allows for extreme chopping without the knife sliding forward or flying out of your hand.
Historic in design, the Barong knife has roots both in the Islamic tribes as well as more popularly known, in the Southern Philippines. Primarily used as an agricultural tool the knife also has a fierce reputation for defense in the Filipino martial arts.
