Boker Cattle Knife - Curly Birch

The first multifunctional tools were invented in Solingen in the middle of the 19th century. One of the best known to this day is the multi-part Boker sports knife, one of the grandfathers of the well-known Swiss Army Knife. The knife also began its triumphal march in North America, which continues to this day, and won over countless customers. However, there was soon a call for a larger and more robust knife of similar design that would also be suitable for the rigors of everyday life on the ranch or in the wilderness. The idea of the Cattle Knife was born. Today, classic pocket knives are experiencing a renaissance as Modern Traditionals, reflecting values such as sustainability, natural materials and genuine craftsmanship. However, modern pocket knives no longer necessarily need additional blades, as the main blade can easily handle all the work involved in everyday urban life thanks to the significantly improved steel quality compared to the past. The Boker Cattle Knife is a full-blown slipjoint pocket knife for everyday use, equipped with a blade made of N690 in a historical blade shape. A tight spring holds the blade when open as well as at 90 degrees. The long nail haft, also called the long pull, is finely serrated, allowing suitable matches to be lit. The tang and the jaws, decorated with a fine groove, are made of stainless steel and are milled from the solid material. With wooden handle scales made of brown stabilized burl birch.
