The DLT Exclusive Buck 501 in S35VN is the most recent addition to our family of extremely popular Buck special projects. Once again we used a premium steel and combined it with classic handle materials all presented in a distressed leather sheath. If you can find a better USA Made lockback in S35VN we’d love to see it. Buck is on the Mount Rushmore of lockback folders for good reason. This American icon employs over 300 people at their Post Falls, Idaho factory and we continue to see them moving to increased quality, premium materials and some more modern offerings. These classy 501 Squires are right in the forefront of these exciting changes at Buck. We chose S35VN as our premium steel because it holds a great edge, has very good corrosion resistance and toughness and is not a bear to re-sharpen. This American super steel is made by Crucible steel using some of the most advanced powder metallurgical processes available.

Choose from polished black linen micarta (with polished nickel silver bolsters) or matte green canvas micarta (with brushed nickel silver bolsters) versions. Both versions come with a black distressed leather sheath. Even though this knife easily carries in your pocket it is a nice option to be able to put on your belt.
