The Broadside is built for work with a 3.5-inch spear point blade ground from D2 tool steel. A saber grind provides cutting versatility, and the stonewashed finish conceals scratches from daily use. Tan G-10 handles with steel liners provide a secure grip and substantial feel at 5.1 ounces. KVT ball bearings allow smooth opening on dual thumb studs. The DuraLock crossbar mechanism locks the blade open, releasing with a pull of the ambidextrous bar. The reversible deep-carry clip allows right or left-hand carry, tip-up only. At 4.85 inches closed, the Broadside carries like a full-size work tool. D2 steel holds an edge through repeated use and resists wear, though it requires more maintenance than stainless steels. Black oxide hardware and a lanyard hole complete the design.
