The Spyderco Manix 2 is a versatile EDC folding knife that comes in three sizes: lightweight, standard, and XL. Both the Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL are made with a full-flat ground S30V steel blade and G-10 handles, while the Manix 2 lightweight is made with a BD1N steel blade and FRCP (fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer) handle. The Manix 2 Lightweight knife was the winner of Blade Magazine’s “Most Innovative American Design” award for its cutting performance and lightweight FRCP handle.
The Spyderco Manix can almost seem to fly under the radar at times as one of the best models made in Golden. This model lacks very little and offers so very much - from tremendous cutting geometry to a solid, easy-to-use lock to a handle shape that locks in the hand for a sure grip. Despite being a robust, full featured knife the Manix fits nicely in a pocket for EDC carry due to its thin profile and reversible pocket clip. Made in the USA.
