This unique version of the Sage 5 elevates that theme with a blade made from CPM SPY27. Exclusively developed for Spyderco, this American-made stainless steel offers an excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The full-flat-ground blade takes full advantage of these properties while maintaining all the key features of the Sage 5, including the high-strength Compression Lock, nested skeletonized stainless steel liners, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip. Its peel-ply-textured G-10 scales are presented in a distinctive cobalt-blue color, a signature hue of the CPM SPY27 family.
