Spyderco Sage 5 Lightweight - Cobalt Blue FRN - SPY27 Blade

The injection-molded scales of the Sage 5 Lightweight reduce its weight and provide enhanced traction with a Bi-Directional Texture pattern. This elite version elevates the design by featuring a blade made from Spyderco's proprietary CPM SPY27 steel. Developed in collaboration with Crucible Industries, SPY27 enhances the composition of VG-10 stainless steel with additional alloys and utilizes Crucible’s advanced particle metallurgy process. The full-flat-ground blade is supported by a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners housed within fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales. In line with the CPM SPY27 family theme, the scales are injection molded in a signature cobalt-blue color.
